Time to leave!! I’m excited, nervous, and everything in between. I’m grateful for this opportunity, looking forward to figuring out how to navigate around in a different country, and stoked (I wonder if Mom and Dad are gonna Google what that means – don’t worry, it’s nothing bad!) to grow and learn.
There’s a bunch of us ISA (International Studies Abroad. It’s the program we’re using that helps us get settled into New Zealand) kids who found each other before boarding. There’s lots of us that go to Chaptown, and it’s comforting to know we’re all going on this NEW (ha, get it? Because it’s New Zealand? And I said new? Okay cool.) journey together.
